A Night with the Workout Ladies - April

Tonight the Workout Ladies Birthday club celebrated April birthdays! We had a lovely dinner and enjoyed excellent conversation. For dinner I had two tiny (silver dollar size) crab cakes that were delicious and light.

The top three topics of conversation were:

1) Shopping & Clothes/Shoes/Accessories (the usual)
2) Game of Thrones on HBO
3) Fifty Shades of Grey (on my nightstand, haven't started it yet)

I'll be posting in the coming days about 2 & 3. I need to dive into this controversial and media frenzy of a book. Are you reading it?

Mrs. Darcy, SisterT, and I had a fun night out this evening. We went and watched SisterA's NFL cheerleading try-outs. The night ended fabulously with SisterA making the squad for the second year in a row. We are so happy for her!

New Hair Inspiration from Tone it Up

Have you ever visited Tone it Up? It is an excellent website full of great workouts, fitness inspiration, healthy recipes, and LOTS of motivation from Katrina and Karena, the founders of Tone it Up.

While watching some of their fitness videos, I noticed how much I like Katrina's hair style, and realized her style is what I've been trying to create every time I get summer highlights.

Let me know what you think about this style; do you think it's too light for someone with dark brown eyebrows?

Blue dresses that is! Around this time each year, I become obsessed with summer dresses. Here are a few from www.modcloth.com that I am admiring.

These dresses remind me of Zooey Deschanel, who is my current fashion favorite. I love how everything she wears is fun and whimsical; especially as her character Jess on New Girl.

The Vampire Diaries

The Vampire Diaries. This show is my ultimate guilty pleasure, and last night's episode totally delivered.
TVD mixes all the best parts of True Blood and Twilight to create the perfect combination of steamy romance and action.

The best part of this show is "Delena" or to those not obsessed with the show, the relationship between Elena and Damon Salvatore (Ian Somherhalder). Side note: they are actually dating in real life and have been spotted all over Coachella.
