Workout Recap and Fun Summer Totes

Good evening! How's your day going?

Last night, I suffered from a hazelnut cookie relapse! Yes, I am addicted to Pirouette cookies. The crunchy exterior with the milky hazelnut filling just scream deliciousness at first bite! Dad's girlfriend also made a wonderful yellow cake over cherry pie filling with pineapple chunks that was fruity and delightful. Thus I woke up this morning with the workout on my mind.

Today I did the following warm-up before an "out-of-this-world" hour-long spinning class.

Pre-Spin Warm Up

  1. Two Minutes at 3.7 Intensity 0 Incline
  2. Three Minutes at 5.7 Intensity 0 Incline
  3. Five Minutes at 5.7 Intensity 0.5 Incline
  4. Two Minutes at 6 Intensity 1.0 Incline
  5. One Minute at 6 Intensity 7.0 Incline (tough!)
  6. Two Minutes Cool Down 3 Intensity 0 Incline
15 Minutes Total

This warm-up really worked great before my spin class. I had more energy and my muscle were warm and ready to go the second I sat in my bike seat.

I then went to the pool with the BFFs, and turned a lovely shade of burnt tomato. I always forget to put sunscreen on my body. I am religious about putting at least SPF30 on my face, but when it comes to my body... I use an oil. Don't do that! I learned my lesson today.

I hope you are having a nice day. Still in a heat wave here. I've been searching the brands online, and I can't get enough of Kate Spade's summer totes. They are too creative...

This one is my absolute favorite!

Have you found any fun summer totes lately? Sending silly tote thoughts your way!

  1. That workout recap made me feel bad about myself. Mine goes a little like this: casual bike ride on my beach cruiser. Aaaaand done. Haha! And my daddy gave that flamingo bag to my mom for mother's day! I'm already planning my stealth mission to steal it!
